The Way To Do Politics From Someone With Incredible Wisdom

George Washington is my “home skillet.” I grew up just a few miles from where he did in the Northern Neck of Virginia.  It’s a safe assumption he visited, perhaps spent the night in the house where I grew up. He was a bad ass. He didn’t go to Harvard or William and Mary. At 20, he became a major in the Virginia  militia and was sent as a special emissary to French controlled lands in the Ohio Valley. The next year he led a company of men in combat against regular French troops. Washington was not an ivory tower academic; he was a man involved in all manner of practical necessities, what we call today “the real world.” He had plenty of academic knowledge, not just in classical history and the humanities, but also in the physical sciences which served him well in his military and commercial endeavors.    However, his most acute aptitude was his understanding of human nature and this was born from a lifetime of “real world” practical experiences.

When one thinks of a father, one generally thinks of a wise older man with excellent judgment. To me “judgment” is the amalgamation of all the other forms of intelligence along with an understanding of self. No other Founding Father had Washington’s judgment and his self-analysis to separate his own prejudices from rational decision making. Washington was a complete man, not to mention a bona fide strapping hoss!

He believed that our young Republic could only survive through a form of virtuous unity and that political parties posed a grave threat to our country’s survival. In his 1796 Farewell Address he stated:

“the spirit of party serves always to distract the public councils and enfeeble the public administration. It agitates the community with ill-founded jealousies and false alarms, kindle the animosity of one part against another, foments occasionally riot and insurrection.”

HELLO! Welcome to 2023! People are always surprised when I tell them that I don’t identify as a Republican. I’ve always voted Republican, but I refuse to compromise my liberty to think for myself for the feel-good comfort of belonging to a tribe.

My Dad was well known for his intellect, honesty and rhetorical skills. He was very conservative and a proud Virginia Democrat. In the late 60s and early 70s when the national Democratic Party was shifting to the left, the Republican Party in Virginia began to be the home for conservatives. Dad was old school, he said it was disloyal to jump ship and not try and fix “his party.” To be honest, I think part of his reluctance was out of snobbery and elitism. He had gone to boarding school and college with the ruling elite, cultured men from “good families.” Bill Scott defeated Dad’s boarding school roommate, the incumbent Bill Spong and became the first Republican Senator from Virginia since Reconstruction. Dad called him a “white socks man,” meaning that he was the type of boorish man who would wear white socks with a suit. Never mind that he had better policy positions than his opponent. I am sure Dad thought he was the type of guy who would put catsup on his steak or not know what fork to use at a dinner party.  Gasp! Even at 12 years old, I didn’t get why Dad didn’t support Bill Scott who seemed more conservative, but Dad, like all of us had his tribal tendencies.  Dad had leadership positions in “his party” and what I observed over the years before he died in 1988 was while Dad was still conservative, his positions on major issues had shifted a bit to be more in line with the rest of “his party.” Thus, the views of the smartest and most principled man I ever knew became “corrupted” due to social influences and the natural inclination of all humans to “fit in” with their colleagues in their particular tribe.  My home boy GW understood this about human nature.

I think it is dishonest not to stand firm for one’s principles, especially for someone like me that the world needs since I am ALWAYS RIGHT about everything.  Dad was the most principled and honest man I ever knew, but he had one irredeemable vice, he was human.

I am quite sure George Washington understood the perils of  “group think” and mass psychosis and how unscrupulous men would use these human phenomena to spread fear and division for their own selfish purposes. We see this in the modern Democratic Party. Absolute absurdity, 100% at odds with facts, history and reason.

The Republicans lost 3 seats in the Virginia House of Delegates last Tuesday. It is all because the leaders of their tribe told all candidates how to think and express themselves. “We must not be like those boorish people who put catsup on their steaks!”  Indeed, the same thinking of my Dad when he was a conservative Democrat. “Speaking the truth might turn some voters off.”  Fu#k that! If good people don’t vigorously stand for truth, they become subservient to “The Lie.” So here are a few campaign ad ideas for Republicans and otherwise sane people to break out of group think tribal mode and win elections by plainly stating what is obviously true.

Abortion. Run a commercial that shows a 9-month baby having forceps crushing its brain and a tube sucking out all of the baby’s brains. Then show hipsters at Planned Parenthood cheering and then getting on the phone and selling off the body parts of the now murdered baby to the highest bidder.  The end of the commercial would merely state, “now which side is radical” on this issue?

In Richmond, we had a Democratic woman candidate having live sex on the internet with her husband and asking her thousands of viewers to pay her money if she performed certain acts. One such act was pissing on her equally perverted hubby. She’s polyamorous. That means she does lots of different guys besides her husband. She has two small children she promoted in her campaign commercials. Her Marquess of Queensberry Republican opponent did not criticize her, “why it would be distasteful” and he almost lost! My campaign ad against her would show her half naked profile with the caption “Vote For Me And I Will Piss On You.” The narrator’s voice would state this is the Democratic Party, do you want them to indoctrinate your children in public schools?

The next commercial would show two so called transgender freaks and the narrator would simply say the “Democrats believe there are more than 2 sexes and that men have periods and can have babies. They are insane freaks, why would you want them running your government and telling you what to do?”

Finally, a campaign commercial showing that disgusting fat shit Jerry Nadler stuffing food in his mouth. The video would show money coming out of Joe Sixpack’s pockets, moving across the screen and then raining on Fat Jerry. The narrator would simply say “Democrats think your money belongs to them and that they should get to spend it anyway they want.” The camara would then pan Fat Jerry’s face, covered with tomato sauce as he sticks a half a loaf of poundcake in his fat mouth.

I could go on. Political parties suck people into group-think trances, believing the absurd because others apparently believe the absurd. If it weren’t for political parties and people just ran for office because they were capable and trustworthy, there would near unanimity on many issues. No one would think partial birth abortion was something to be celebrated or that there were more than 2 sexes.  No one would think that a woman soliciting money for publicly pissing on her husband was qualified to hold elective office (much less be a decent mother to her children). The monolithic group think of party politics could be broken if more Republicans had the balls to simply speak the truth in Rob Is Right graphic terms.

I am awestruck by the wisdom of George Washington. Look at the quote above:  “distract the public,”( spread fear to distract from Biden family corruption), “enfeeble the public administration” ( inept govt patronage system), “agitate the community” ( MAGA Republicans are white supremacists!),  “ill- founded jealousies” (successful people are bad), “false alarms” ( covid, climate change) , “animosity of one part against the other” (white male oppressors v. everyone else)  and “foments occasionally riot and insurrection” (George Floyd planned riots, tearing down statues and burning down city blocks).

Along with yours truly, George Washington’s incredible, prophetic wisdom is solid proof that there is something in the soil of the Northern Neck of Virginia that gives its sons incredible wisdom…..
