John Tamny

Author, columnist and founder of The Parkview Institute.

John Tamny is the editor of RealClearMarkets and a longtime Forbes contributor. His writing explores trade, money, work and the sources of economic progress.

He founded Parkview in 2023 to improve the economic discussion, including among advocates of free markets. His books develop arguments that often challenge the conventional positions of both the left and the right.

The Deficit Delusion examines the national debt. The Money Confusion considers currencies and inflation, while The End of Work explores the relationship between prosperity and work people enjoy.

The goal of Parkview is to relentlessly push the terms of the economics debate to much sounder footing.
