Joseph Calhoun
Joe Calhoun is a senior fellow at the Parkview Institute and the founder and president of Alhambra Investments, the fee-only investment advisory firm he started in 2006. He has worked in financial services since 1992, including nearly a decade as a Director of Investments at Oppenheimer & Co., and he is an editor of RealClearMarkets, where his market commentary appears regularly.
Before Wall Street, Calhoun served eight years in the U.S. Navy’s nuclear submarine service, earning the Navy Achievement Medal. He studied engineering at the University of South Carolina and is a graduate of the Navy’s Nuclear Propulsion School.
